Videoinstallation Woman Blood
Woman blood is a tryptic: a poem, a film and a manifesto. So, for properly living the installation, I propose it to be seeing as a circuit, ending up with a performance. First, the public reads the poem River Flow, then they watch the videoart Woman Blood and finally the manifesto A women art-denounce manifesto is read out loud with every women in the room.
It starts from my urgency to expose what it's like to be a woman and re-signify the meaning of woman blood, which is commonly associated to periods, but it relates more with all types of violence prosecuted against women.
Based on five stories of unknown women sent to me by Google Forms I created the videoart Woman Blood, which consists in aquarelle paintings made with my blood and my voice narrating those women stories as soundtrack.
